Judge Pitcher has served at every level of the judicial system in Louisiana and has also been the chancellor of the Southern University Law Center. His journey is a powerful testament to leadership, resilience, and breaking barriers as a young Black man in South Louisiana. In this episode, Judge Pitcher shares his impactful story and reads an excerpt from his 2022 autobiography, "Breaking Barriers: A View from the Bench." At FMOLHS, we strive for excellence by providing our team members and leaders with the tools and resources necessary for their growth and success. Through our partnership with FranU, our team members have the opportunity to pursue their master’s in health administration at a special reduced rate. This program is 100% online with most people completing the program within 12-18 months and saving around 50% on tuition. With the reduced rate, this program is one of the most financially accessible MHA programs available in Louisiana. This is one of the many ways we prioritize our team members and support them in achieving their professional and educational goals. Learn more about our great benefits and how we are people inspired.

Throughout our ministry we focus on connecting with high schoolers and generating excitement about healthcare and the many careers available in the industry. We do this by visiting schools and hosting on-site tours in Louisiana and Mississippi. Throughout the academic year, we visit approximately 15 schools and host 12 on-site tours with plans to expand and offer this to more schools and students. Students also have opportunities to intern with us and start their professional journey after graduation.
