McKinstry and Spokane civic and business leaders joined basketball legend John Stockton and his family to break ground on the 88,000 square foot Matilda Building located adjacent to the thriving Gonzaga University campus. Spokane Mayor David Condon was in attendance.
Curious onlookers filled the Seattle office's upper mezzanine to watch Skander Spies serenade his colleagues in the engineering department with his 101-year-old cello, Gabrielle. This impromptu concert occurred because Skander, a cellist since age four, was headed to Alaska with Gabrielle that afternoon to play in a friend’s wedding. Encouraged by his team, he offered to play for them in the library. Realizing that setting was too small, he set up (a little apprehensively) in the wine bar.

EVP David Allen recently joined McKinstry engineer and Naval Reservist Doug Holtan on the deck of a Landing Helicopter Dock during Fleet Week, which is part of Seattle's Seafair summer celebration. Doug is deploying soon for reserve exercises in his role as Naval Captain. Thank you for your service, Doug!

10 of our Rocky Mountain Region team members and friends summited Quandary Peak (14,265’) as part of the Annual Peak Challenge to benefit the Griffith Centers for Children. The funds raised through this event allow Griffith Centers to provide services and programs for hope and healing to abused children. This year marked the 7th year McKinstry team members have participated in this event
