It is with great joy for Anita Capulong that we announce her well-deserved upcoming retirement tomorrow. Thank you for 31 wonderful years with the McLarens Family, Anita! After 31 ½ productive years at McLarens, Anita has decided to retire as she looks forward to spending and enjoying time with her family and grandchildren. From assignments via fax, hand typewriting of invoices, manual bordereaux’s, multiple operating systems changes, to expensing cell phone calls to files, Anita has seen it all. She contributed and played a major part of developing the office over the years, creating a fun and enjoyable working atmosphere, while always bringing an unforgettable smile. We will certainly miss you, your warm personality and smile in the office, Anita! We would not be where we are today without her knowledge, guidance and contributions. We are all wishing you all the best!

Our team around the world is getting another productive workweek under their belts while working from home! This week, a lot of "furry" coworkers are assisting the best way they can. Tuck, Stacy Adkins' teammate (top left), is helping take calls. Ted (top right) has been assisting Kieran Gallagher on Claims. Natalie Hook took a couple of days' holiday so Dottie the Cockapoo (bottom left) stepped in to help, and Jake (bottom right) is staking claim on Deborah Ostrander's chair to make sure she takes adequate breaks throughout the day. What would we ever do without their help?

KUDOS to the team at our McLarens and Norcross Patchogue, NY office that donated dinner to the South County Ambulance in Bellport, Long Island last week! We are all grateful for our healthcare heroes' support and dedication in these unprecedented times who aid and save our families in this time of crisis. We are forever thankful!

Our corporate #TeamMcLarens in Atlanta put business aside and took a break for a moment yesterday to host a virtual "Happy Hour"! It was a perfect opportunity to celebrate a long list of work anniversaries and birthdays in the month of April. You should have heard our laughs and seen our smiles. It was so real and so in the moment. It was genuine and personal. Seeing each other and saying hello will never be taken for granted as we return back to the office. We have a great group of talented professionals who enjoy working, debating, poking fun at each other, and celebrating together. We're a family.

Last week, the US Business Development team held their Annual Team Meeting - virtually of course! Stephanie Blackwood (left) was a recipient of one of 2 “Big Mac” awards. This is an awards program created specifically within the team in our last fiscal year to promote teamwork, communication and collaboration. Stephanie earned the “most nominations” at 16 nominations from her teammates for the year and Taneal Jepsen-Pickles (right) also earned an award for “most notable”! Congrats, ladies!

We're almost into the weekend (in some parts of the globe already there). It was a productive and creative week for #TeamMcLarens. Who knew that we have real movie stars on the team! As insurance services and claims management are classified as part of essential infrastructure services, #TeamMcLarens and #TeamNorcross adjusters, site surveyors and environmental testing field technicians are pressing on carrying out their daily duties serving customers amid COVID-19. They're our everyday heroes, truly. Give your high-five to a few of them: Ty Whitaker (bottom right) in Atlanta, Steven Korasidas (top right) in Phoenix and Matt Pridachuk (left) in Seattle with Norcross are taking all necessary PPE safety precautions when visiting our clients and partners.
