With huge excitement and fanfare, NICE Wings – our career development event – landed in the Philippines. Soaking up the wisdom of colleagues, leaders, and special guest speakers, NICErs gained exclusive tips about elevating their careers at NICE! An impressive line-up of both local and global NICErs shared their success stories and career advice, and the evening ended on a high note as Jonathan Yabut, winner of The Apprentice Asia, took to the stage. The audience were on the edge of their seats as they heard about Jonathan’s transformative journey, got the inside scoop on how he won the popular TV show and were inspired by his views on diversifying skills in order to succeed.
And that’s a wrap on NICE Wings Sandy 2023! NICErs were invigorated by the two-day agenda of spectacular keynote sessions, panels, and discussions with peers and NICE leaders. After boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard set the tone, NICErs heard from the master of Perspective Leadership, Dan Clark, and leadership and communication champion, Lisa Walden, gained insights from industry experts and fellow NICErs, checked out the NICE Innovation Showcase, and so much more! NICE Wings, our flagship career development event series, just kicked off with a knockout opening day! Sandy NICErs got up close and personal with iconic boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard, as he shared personal stories and rare insights from his career as a boxer, author, and TV personality – and, of course, took a whole lot of selfies with our NICErs! In keeping with the NICE Wings concept of ‘Elevating Your Career,’ Sugar Ray shared tips on the Power of Winning, and how our dreams are the GPS that guides us on the path to success, while our determination is what turns us into winners. NICErs walked out invigorated, with the mental edge of star athletes, ready to enter the ring and elevate their careers!
Our superstar women in Bolivia – from QA, Cloud Database and Software Engineers to IT and Tech Support and many more – came together to celebrate Bolivian Women’s Day 💝 The ladies – a vision in pink – brought great excitement and energy to the event, sharing personal successes, encouraging one another, and discussing ways to take initiative and seize opportunities! Our Bolivian NICErs walked away inspired and smiling from a memorable day of treats, gifts, and new connections.
Dozens of London NICErs, together with their families, took advantage of the half-term break for a day of adventure and spoils. Our junior NICErs jumped for joy at the sight of the two-floor trampoline park – decked out with trampolines, rock climbing, and even a magician to add some extra laughs. October was all about physical and mental health at NICE🏅 🏃♀️ This year, as part of our Global Health Month, we launched the ‘Every Step Counts’ initiative, calling on NICErs to walk or run with their work mates, for a cause! Since October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month, for every step our NICErs recorded, NICE is donating funds to cancer charities around the world. NICE GTC in Pune hosted an impressive event for the cause, with hundreds of NICErs gathering for a 3km / 5km run. Singapore NICErs enjoyed a Maritime Trail, NICErs in Hoboken and London participated in local Breast Cancer Support walks, and so many more NICErs across the globe put on their pink shirts and showed support, taking walks with their team, or getting their partners, kids, and dogs to come along as they racked up their steps. We’re wrapping up Global Health Month at NICE with a spring in our step and newfound mindfulness 🧘🏽♀️🤸🏼 At sites across the globe there was a selection of nutritious food and activities, from yoga to Pilates, Zumba, meditation and more, to equally fuel body and mind. Offering some food for thought, NICErs were invited to a range of lectures on health topics such as Food & Mood, Gut Health and Thinking Out of the (Lunch) Box. Some NICErs invited their families to join in on their fitness fun, and others enjoyed friendly competition with their colleagues while indoor cycling, bike riding, walking, running and more! Strong minds, strong bodies NICErs!
NICErs in India, Sandy and Bolivia were excited to hear from fellow NICErs about their latest innovations, at the NICE CXTech 2023 conference. Over 130 NICErs presented sessions in which they shared their successes and insights on topics ranging from AWS DeepRacer to API documentation, AIOps in IT management, robust unit testing, Kubernetes, code ownership, and much more. Led by CX Suite Engineering R&D team members, CXTech serves as a dedicated stage for hundreds of Engineers, Architects, Product Managers, QA experts, DevOps, and Leadership, to educate, network, and collaborate!
From America to Australia, Prague to Paris, NICE has over 30 sites around the world 🌍! Paris may be the elegant city of lights, cafés, pastries, and fashion, but on this particular day, it was a playground for our Paris NICErs to connect and collaborate with some fun and games, which included discovering their inner architects!
Our Alkmaar site in the Netherlands, represents NICE across the board – with members from our Vertical Markets, CX, Actimize and Corporate Services divisions. The diverse squad took time out to enjoy each other’s company and proved that their strategic skills and teamwork are just as superb in a virtual reality!
