We wanted to keep "Colonial" in the name because Colonial Health and Rehabilitation has been an important part of the Colby community for many years. This name honors the longstanding commitment to the residents and families we serve, while also reflecting the new direction and resources that North Shore Health will bring to the facility. Hammond Health Services Director of Nursing Shelly Hawkins and her family were the Grand Marshal of the Hammond Heartland Days parade. Shelly said her late husband, Billy, would have been honored that the town was still thinking about him and his family, including their four children, 26 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
