Center leadership teams spent time learning about the AHCA/NCAL Bronze Quality Award criteria and writing their responses to the criteria. The Bronze Award level provides applicants with the tools and resources they need for continuous improvement in quality care. Through the Bronze criteria, based on the Baldrige Excellence Framework, these applicants assessed their organization’s mission, vision, and key factors that are leading them to successful outcomes for those they serve.
Hammond Health Services holds a Community Dinner every month to keep the residents connected to those in their community. This is truly community coming together to support each other.
Marshfield Health Services department heads participated in a team building exercise where they created a vision board for the future. Employees had a chance to share their thoughts for the center's future too. The goal across all North Shore centers to always work together to provide the best care possible for our residents.
Elroy Health Services college students worked very hard at the center and we hope they are having a wonderful school year! Congratulations to Eden for passing her exam to become a CNA at Homestead Health Services! She participated in North Shore's CNA training program this summer, giving her the opportunity to work across different departments, while getting paid and taking classes at Moraine Park Technical College to become a CNA. She graduates high school in spring 2024 with intentions of pursuing a Health Science degree at University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Eden's goal is to become a physician's assistant and we know she can do it!
