Sunday 10th September was 2023's Suicide Prevention Day! We're sharing an incredible story from our RS Family to help raise awareness this Suicide Prevention Day. ❤️ It comes from two colleagues, Jenny and Stuart, who virtually met on LinkedIn, before Stuart joined RS. Stuart noticed that Jenny had commented on a mental health page that she followed; who were advertising mental health awareness pins, which she wanted to get for her 15-year-old, Izzy, who had suffered with mental health. Jenny shared "I couldn’t risk getting something like a pin, so wanted to know if they did a magnet version." "When Stuart joined RS in December, he came to me and said he had something for me… he had ordered the pins, removed the pin and converted them to magnets!" She added, "I do believe this act of kindness has helped Izzy to be open about her mental health even more and realize she can have a future and dream big." Over the past 18 months we have been accelerating our value creation with the addition of three businesses to RS Group. In June 2022, we acquired domnick hunter-RLThailandco. ltd. (DH) in Thailand, a leading distributor and service provider of major air compression, purification and filtration products, with onsite service expertise. We are excited about adding DH to the RS Group as it accelerates significantly the development of our service solutions offer in Asia Pacific and provides opportunities to cross-sell our product offer to DH’s customers. We welcomed Risoul y Cia S.A. DE C.V. to the RS Group in January 2023. Risoul is a leading distributor of industrial automation product and service solutions and the largest authorised Rockwell Automation distributor in Mexico. Risoul provides significant growth opportunities to the RS Group byexpanding our position and execution expertise in Mexico and driving cross-selling synergies across our product and service solutions offer. In July 2023 we completed the acquisition of Distrelec; a high-service, digital-led distributor of industrial and MRO products. The acquisition of Distrelec materially strengthens our presence in key European markets. With a heritage going back 50 years, tt is a complementary business to RS and has excellent value creation potential with a strong cultural and operational fit. #WeAreRS #RSGroup #RSFamily

We're delighted to have been shortlisted for two awards at the Corporate ESG Awards 2023, which recognise the best listed companies across all areas of ESG and sustainability performance and reporting. The awards are organised by ESG Investing, the leading global media platform publishing news and features on ESG and sustainable investing for fund managers, institutional investors and listed companies. Sunday was World Humanitarian Day, and we want to acknowledge our incredible social impact partners at The Washing Machine Project ❤️ TWMP are committed to humanitarian work by producing and distributing off-grid, hand-powered washing machines to alleviate the burden of domestic labour on women. Today we are celebrating World Youth Day! As a business, we are dedicated to nurturing young and emerging talent. In fact, 10% of our UK employees are apprentices. To ensure that RS is a great place to work and provides a supportive environment that fosters growth, a collection of colleagues came together to form 'Bloomers' our Employee Resource Group for people within our business aged 16 to 30. Bloomers committee member Millie McAuley told us: "We created Bloomers to be more than just an information group. We wanted to build a thriving community that embodies our shared vision to create a global network of young minds and skills across the business. "Our primary goal is to boost the confidence of our Bloomers members, helping them to unleash their potential and flourish in their careers.
