Ahead of the beginning of another school year, our King's Daughters Medical Center team added some fun visuals at Crabbe Elementary School in Ashland, Kentucky. The team painted pawprints along the sidewalks that lead to the entryways of the school, represented by its Tiger mascot. We're glad we could help spruce up the campus to welcome students back to school!

Several women on our Florida team had an engaging time with students at Florida International University - College of Engineering & Computing's She Builds Summer Camp, hosted by the Moss Department of Construction Management. The five-day camp provided eighth through 12th grade girls with the opportunity to learn from women working in various roles in the construction and engineering industries. Our team led an interactive session on virtual design and construction, as well as a speaker panel titled "A Walk in Her Shoes," where campers heard directly about the experiences of women in various roles on our team. We also hosted campers for a jobsite visit to our University of Miami Health System at Doral project. We're excited to see the next generation of women in construction excel! #GivingWithPurpose #BeATrueBuilder

Our Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital project team joined Branch Builds to host our second annual Crystal Spring Tower Charity Softball Game. Team Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Virginia faced off against Team Carilion Clinic Children's, and the proceeds benefited each charity. We're thrilled to be part of an event that has become a favorite of our team and the Roanoke Valley community, and we're looking forward to next year's game!

Several of our team members spent a day at NAWIC Greater Orlando Chapter 73's Construction Career Camp, working with 55 high school girls interested in our industry. Campers learned about our sustainability efforts as well as new technology we are deploying on project sites to enhance safety and efficiency. Campers were even able to interact with Morty, our SPOT® robot by Boston Dynamics, while gaining insight into technology career paths. We’re grateful we had the opportunity to sponsor the camp, which is available at no cost to attendees. It was NAWIC Greater Orlando Chapter's largest camp yet. The future of women in construction is bright! #GivingWithPurpose #BeATrueBuilder
