To celebrate Women in Construction Week in March, our team members attended Power UP: It's a Mother-Daughter Thing! in Birmingham. The program was created to encourage young women and their mothers to explore career opportunities in the construction industry. Our team was glad to be part of this event!

Our Florida team recently hosted a diversity outreach event at our Orlando office for those interested in future trade partnership opportunities. Team members enjoyed interacting with women-owned, minority-owned and veteran-owned small businesses that are vital to our communities. Our goal is to help expand their footprint through meaningful industry partnerships. Thank you to all who attended!

In preparation for Earth Day 2023, Robins & Morton’s Sustainability Council challenged our team members to take action to improve our planet through small steps that benefit the environment and social well-being. The Council provided four opportunities to make an impact, including holding e-waste recycling drives, submitting ideas to reduce single-use water bottles on jobsites, joining an Earth Day cleanup event, and committing to one or more sustainable actions through our annual Pick Your Pledge. Our Pick Your Pledge drawing winners are Erskine Ramsay, Gloria Cook, Ryan Rogers, Veronica Fuenzalida, Diana Holland, Danielle Simmons, Sue King, Kaitlin Hazle, Stephanie Harbison and Jessica Tomaselli. Our Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital team members volunteered with Sleep in Heavenly Peace to build beds for children who otherwise would not have one. The team partnered with members of the Roanoke Regional Home Builders Association to build 36 beds at the offsite event. Thank you to all our team members and their families who participated in this great cause! #GivingWithPurpose

They joined in with the University of Miami's ‘Canes Day of Service at Virginia Key North Point Trails and were led by Miami-Dade County guides from Baynanza, a celebration of Biscayne Bay and its significance as one of the most important ecological systems in South Florida. Thank you to our team members for helping improve the quality of our beaches and protect our marine life.
