The Resolve and DEI in Action Roadshow made its way to the Midwest this week with a stop at our Highland Solar site in Buford, Ohio to continue to raise DEI awareness and share ways to increase our cultural competence within our organization. Our SOLV Energy team and Resolve DEI council joined the community service project with Honor Flight Columbus on May 25th. Honor Flight Columbus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring America’s veterans from WWII through the Vietnam War with a trip to Washington DC to visit their service and war memorials. With the conclusion of the 2022 flight season, they successfully flew 119 missions that totaled over 8,600 veterans. The Resolve and DEI in Action Roadshow stopped into our Bend office on May 18th to raise DEI awareness and share ways to increase our cultural competence within our organization. Our SOLV Energy Team and Resolve DEI council then laced up their running shoes on May 20th in support of the Happy Girls Run in Bend. During the Happy Girls Run, participants of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to embrace themselves and encourages others to achieve their own personal goals. The Resolve and DEI in Action Roadshow is making the rounds on the West Coast! On May 16th, the Resolve DEI Council met with our Solar Blue and Chestnut project teams to discuss the importance of DEI in our workplace. Our SOLV Energy Team were then encouraged to join the Council for the community service project with Central Valley Honor Flight. Since its inaugural flight in October 2013, Central Valley Honor Flight has led the effort to honor local World War II veterans by sending them to see their memorial in Washington D.C. Golden Gate is one of four structured partner programs from Cal/OSHA recognizing effective workplace safety and health programs among California employers. This award was received as a result of extensive evaluation of our written safety program and close monitoring of its implementation on our Oberon I and II, Victory Pass and Arica project sites in Desert Center, CA!

On May 6th, our Resolve DEI Council made their second stop on the Resolve and DEI in Action Roadshow! Our Resolve DEI Council and our SOLV Energy team joined Special Olympics Southern California for a day of discovery of new strengths and abilities, skills, and success; all through the power of sports. Our team had the opportunity to show their support and provide overall Good Energy for the competing athletes during the games. Our Resolve DEI Council kicked off our first-ever Resolve and DEI in Action Roadshow as a part of our 2023 Resolve DEI initiative! The Resolve and DEI in Action Roadshow is an 18-city DEI awareness and community service campaign. The first community service stop was with the San Diego Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build! Members of our Resolve DEI Council and our SOLV Energy Team joined the together to support the project’s mission for women to create a significant change in their neighborhoods by volunteering and bringing attention to the fact that homeownership is a pathway to better financial futures, better education, better health, and a more cared-for, connected community.
