Dickie Jumel, a part-time Health Enthusiast at our store in Coeur d'Alene, celebrated her 99th Birthday this week! Yes - that is correct we said 99th birthday! Dickie has been working for Super Supplements since August 2005. During these 14+ years, she has provided health and wellness advice to thousands of customers in the Spokane and CDA region! She was integral in advising senior management when Super Supplements opened the stores we have in Spokane and CDA and today still comes to work several days a week. We thank Dickie for all her years of service to our customers and her community! Happy 99th Birthday Dickie!!!

In a nutshell, I get to play an important role in our company's mission to support our customers on their personal journey to their best-self. I learn something new every day and I am constantly thinking of ways for continuous improvement within my team and cross functionally! As I sought to transition from the space of beauty and skincare that I was previously in, I focused on opportunities in the Health and Wellness space. The Customer Support Center (CSC) for The Vitamin Shoppe held it's annual CSC Appreciation Day Picnic! It was a great day spent enjoying each other's company, having a field day challenge, playing softball, and making blankets for donation to a local shelter. We hope everyone had a great time and thank you to the CSC employees for all that you do each and every day!
At their recent team meeting, the Human Resources department packaged 39 backpacks for the New Jersey Department of Children and Families Teresa Orth led the charge in collecting school supplies for the past few weeks with the goal of donating it to children in need. Great job team!!
This past weekend The Vitamin Shoppe was invited to the Navy Exchange Customer Appreciation Day at Pearl Harbor. With the support of our Hawaii Vitamin Shoppe Health Enthusiasts, we were able to exhibit product and support the education of our the Vitamin Shoppe Brands. During this 2 day event, the team provided samples, raffle prizes, and educated the Navy Exchange community on our quality products. Thank you to all our teams that supported us in pulling this together!
