How well an organization weathers a crisis is sometimes emblematic of the strength of its company culture. Anna Berentson, a recruiter, said that was her experience at pet insurance company Trupanion when they were faced with a pandemic this spring. When COVID-19 hit Seattle, the company had to transition 700 people to remote work and adapt interviewing, onboarding and training processes to be virtual. They were able to complete the transition within weeks. ?In my career so far at Trupanion, I have yet to see a challenge that this company hasn?t adapted to,? Berentson said.
This August we celebrate 20 years of helping dogs and cats get the medical care they need. From everything to puppies, kittens, adult pets, and loving seniors, we've been here to help protect pets over two decades. So to celebrate all of the joy, we're inviting you to join in on all the fun.

We’ve gone remote! Beginning in March, we transitioned the entire office to working from home. Communication across the company is essential now more than ever, so we have implemented weekly Q&A webinars with our CEO and leadership. For those that cannot work from home - like our team of dog walkers- they are still being compensated fully. We hope to return to the office in the coming months, but in the meantime, our cats and dogs are happy with the new WFH lifestyle. Concerning hiring, we are hosting our interviews, onboarding, and training over phone and video calls. Since going remote, we have hosted our monthly new hire training sessions as normal, just from the comfort of our own homes. We are still hiring!

The current starting rate for the Customer Care role is $17/hr. The current starting rate for the Data Assistant role is $16/hr. Both roles offer bonus opportunities, too!
