David Richardson Trauma Center recognized and celebrated survivors of trauma through a sentimental exhibit that shares their stories of triumph. The event, titled Live Beyond: A Celebration of Trauma Survivors, tells the story of 11 trauma survivors through photography, artwork and the written word.

Jiapeng Huang, M.D., Ph.D., has been appointed as the new Chief Scientific Officer and Associate Dean for Clinical Research, strategically aligning the academic mission of the University of Louisville School of Medicine with the clinical mission of UofL Health. The first-ever joint leadership role will further position the two institutions as partners in clinical care, education and research.
