We transitioned to Arches and for my family needs it was a downgrade.

It used to be with Select Health and it was very good. But without real cause they switched to Arches. No real reason was ever given regarding the downgrade.

Arches is too small and does not have a great network of doctors. I don't like that I have to visit doctors in different areas/ campuses. With select health we were able to do it all in one place. The coverage previously may have been more expensive, but we should have been given the opportunity to vote before a decision that big was made.

I have not had the chance to use the new insurance, but it did change from the company we were using since I started. I didn't like that it was so outrageously expensive to keep an HSA.

I had the high deductible qualifying plan plan so my options were supposedly limited, but the one time I went to the doctor I was able to go across the street from the office to a convenient care clinic. The doctor lookup tools on most major providers are decent now so finding a physician shouldn't be an issue.
