Connection benefits

Thank you for your review of Connection and recognizing the generous vacation benefits and tuition reimbursement benefits. Connection provides excellent medical benefits and picks up approximately 75% of the cost of associated medical care expenditures. Relative to bereavement, our benefit far surpasses most companies. In the event of a death in an employee’s immediate family, a leave of absence of up to 5 days will be granted. Most companies only provide 3 days. Also we have a far more liberal definition of Immediate family to include: Spouse Domestic/civil partner Children, stepchildren, foster children Parents and stepparents Grandparents and grandchildren Siblings For non-immediate family members, three (3) days will be granted, and one (1) day will be granted for all other relationships far more generous than most companies.

Thank you for recognizing that we have kept our co-payments for employees pay low, we have had no co-payment increases since 2013. The cost of health care continues to rise as new, costly prescription drugs are made available. Our health care costs and plan design are reviewed annually to find ways to contain costs and keep premiums reasonable for our employees. We also review survey data and find that we compare favorably to other employers.

Thank you for providing your feedback. There are many pros and cons surrounding working remotely. The company has found that Sales Account Managers, during their early years of tenure, have an invaluable support system available in the office setting. In addition, working in an office setting provides the opportunity to learn from peers and share experiences. You have more access and line of sight to Management and other support services. PC Connection matches 25% of the first 6% an employee contributes to their 401K plan. When we review benefits we take into account the full range of benefit offerings provided and we do compare favorably to many area employers.

However, your information on our 401K plan is inaccurate. PC Connection matches 25% of the first 6% an employee contributes to their 401K plan. When we review benefits, we take into account the full range of benefit offerings provided, and we compare favorably to many area employers.

We review our benefit package on an annual basis and feel we are very competitive. All employers are faced with the high cost of health care and do require some employee sharing in the cost of health care. We are proud to say we cover much more of the cost to the employee than many employers do, and we often receive compliments from employees who join the company on our benefit offerings.
