They offer a generous time off plan. You can accrue days and you earn hours each pay period.

You get practically nothing if you don't have somebody to switch shifts with. Hint: You don't.

Cannot bank. Worked to death so never get to take advantage of vacation or sick leave. Quite limited as far as paid time offered.

Goodwill's PTO options are industry-standard, which is to say that they're an insult to a civilized society. Offering more flexibility would be a good start, as would giving new parents more than a few total weeks to spend with their families.

They are very open to giving time off as long as dates do not conflict with other employees in your department

I like that I was able to cash in part of my vacation time acquired over time to pay for car repairs I needed. And as long as I filled out the paperwork in a timely manner, I was never denied my vacation times.

If you need time to yourself or family then goodwill is definitely the way to go
