They try to train with multiple job titles in video training. Too watered down for higher management positions with many employees

Job training well that's kind of a joke. Some people get trained in every department, and some train on literally one job throughout the entire warehouse. How did this happen? I have no idea. Where I worked I guess it came down to the shift supervisor. You would think there would be some sort of standard operating procedure for all areas in which a new employee would train, but no! Not only that you have temp workers training other temp workers, and temp workers training new permanent workers. If that's not a slap in the face I don't know what is. So, for instance you have a temp worker that has been there 5 months and then HR hires on a permanent that the temp has to train. Temps are trying to prove themselves to get a permanent position!! Thanks but no thanks. If that doesn't make someone feel used and taken advantage of then I don't know what does. Not only that our Plant Manager doesn't even acknowledge or speak to temp workers. That's pretty sad.

The training was pretty good, my area manager took enough time to make sure I was comfortable with the job and systems.

They teach the basics then you have to study on your own or find a helpful co-worker to walk you thru it.

When i was hired, my Territory Manager did an excellent job training me. She was always available for any questions I had once I was on my own after training.

More exposure to different methodologies in doing the job would help the turn-around rate.
