Company contributes 1% to your 401K. This is nice but with a company this size I think they could do better.

IBM has changed their "Match" program to be fulfilled once a year. If you leave IBM before December 15th, IBM will not match any of your contributions.

Very frustrated that IBM match for percentage of your contributions is now only paid on December 31 versus at each pay period. And very frustrated that you must be employed by IBM in December of a given year to get any contribution matching funds.

Best thing is the Dollar for dollar matching. Bad things is that they pay the match once at the end of year in December

Standard 401K plan w some contribution. The catch is, you have to be employed the entire year in order to receive the matching. Therefore the matched funds don't generate additional income for you throughout the year. Also, if you leave the company before 12/15 of that calendar year, you receive none of the matching contribution.
