Kroger benefits

I've heard the benefits are good and affordable. But every time I asked how to apply for them or where to go to get them. I was told many times, "oh, on the website." So to this day I don't know how to use them

The best about Kroger is that the people are really nice and friendly people to with even when your down they can always brighten your day.

Though benefits are not initially acquired upon hiring, there is the opportunity to earn vacation, health insurance, and other benefits over time.

401k and offers new part time insurance with a minimum of 30 hours a week are the best things I believe they offer. Worst thing working at kroger; increased time with the company does not typically compare with increased involvement when company decisions are made

Pharmacy Interns (P1-P4) do not receive any benefits or holiday pay. We work at an hourly rate until we are hired post-graduation as pharmacists.

Vacation was pretty standard: for part time after 5 years I had 40 hours, full time after 5 years 80 hours? For insurance on part time you have to work for 1 year before you qualify. Pharmacy coverage was average. Common meds are cheap and you can get 90 day supplies (some insurances you can't) Never had to really use medical coverage, but copay was maybe $25, but then would get more bills for tests (not fully covered)

Insurance premiums are high. Vacation time earned is respectable. Hourly wage is getting better.

The pay is lower and I don't think you have health insurance until your probation was up.
