Health insurance is decent. Two weeks paid vacation the first year, however don't plan on taking nationally observed holidays off.

They average the number of hours you work in a week of a holiday and divide it by five. Then they add that many hours to that paycheck. So if I work for hours on a holiday week, they'll add eight hours to my check. 10% discount on Kroger products. Health benefits after probationary period. Vision and dental after a year. 1 week of vacation after 1 year of working. 10¢ pay raise after 9 months.

One of the best things about the benefits package at Kroger is the 401K. Kroger will match 5% of what you put into your account. Kroger also gives you company stock. They are the #1 grocery retailer in this country!

The best thing about the Kroger benefits is the insurance. It covers 70% of health/vision/dental and helps with prescription costs. You have to work 9 months to earn healthcare after reaching Status 3 (working an average of at least 30 hours a week for a certain period of time).
