RBC benefits

RBC's benefits package is so/so. The drug formulary is seriously dated and does not pay for a number of newer drugs, especially limited choices for diabetics. The RESSOP match is okay, but not generous. Depending on role, the opportunity to receive a share of the company's profits is limited.

PTO is sacred and employee personal time is respected.

The best thing about the benefits package is the extensive opportunities to be compensated for giving back to the community, they offer a grant to your charity for volunteer hours starting at as few as 5 and up to 40. The grant can be up to $500. Also RBC Bank GA has a Maternity/Paternity leave that is much closer to the Canadian benefits. I did not take advantage of it but I believe it is currently 12 weeks paid leave. Otherwise the benefits are quite typical of a company this size.

Very good health insurance options (including conventional plans), generous 401k match, and good policy on time off.

Best is 6% 401(k) match on 100%

Short term disability is impossible to work with. Medical, dental, 401k, and vision are excellent.
