Teradata cannot compete with other tech companies in the Indianapolis market. Everyone else offers beer/alcohol, free snacks, free/paid/onsite gym memberships, true paid maternity leave (not "short term disability" baloney), true work from home/telecommuting... the list goes on and on. Not Teradata. They offer benefits/act like a company still in 1990. The only thing positive is that the health insurance coverage is excellent. They still offer a very low deductible plan to choose if desired, unlike most companies who have gotten rid of that option.

The benefits are kind of expensive in comparison to other tech companies in the area. Higher than usual deductible and charge first, reduce rate later policy for discounts in your premium based on non-smoker, health assessment, etc.
