Terracon benefits

Terracon compensates salaried employees who work over 44 billable hours in a week by paying flat time for the efforts. As I understand, this is by no means industry standard and, since I work a lot of billable hours each week, it affords me the opportunity to earn 50 to 60 percent more than my base salary on a yearly basis.

The benefits are awesome. They really care about your heat and reward you for being healthy.

The health insurance options are extensive, as well as their 401k and other benefits (stock options).

They promised me relocation money and I never received it. They were also several weeks late with my first paycheck. This causes severe problems when relocating to a new city, but the managers and HR people did not seem to care or try to rectify the problem

It is great. They have charles schwab. They match up to 10% 401 contribution which is not very common.

Employee owned company with good returns at year end. Little time off. Did not like the PTO set up.

WORST:If you use the vacation to go on an actual vacation, your chargeability will drop below 85% and you could be fired. BEST: You earn Terracon stock

The health insurance and 401K programs are great. Company offers training on employee options during sign-ups at the end of the year. Terracon wants you to be educated and know your options.
