      Gameplay Engineer Interview

      Jul 19, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Seattle, WA
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Bungie (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2022

      Interview

Very long process which took about 4 months form application to offer. Consisted of three technical phone screens and a virtual on-site loop. The loop spanned 9AM to 6PM consisting of six interviews with homework to be completed afterwards. Two behavioral, two design, one algorithms, and one testing. I received an offer approximately two weeks later and spent another four weeks negotiating for no gains despite presenting better offers from other companies.
