Flight Centre Travel Group interview questions

Since, I just started looking out for a change after few years, my intention was to get couple of interviews to see my market potential and to get an insight in to the interview process. My application process went smoothly through company website and got an acknowledgment next day. I got an invitation for telephonic interview by mail, time and date fixed. Telephonic interview was pretty easy as expected probing the skills , past experience and predictable questions such as 'why do you want to work for this company ?'. The interviewer told me to complete the online skill and behavioral test online within next two days, which was almost one and half hr test. Questions were like any other psychometric tests and I felt the time was not sufficient enough to complete the test. Later I got the similar feed back from other candidates during my next phase of interview. Within a weeks time I received a call for group interview. There were 6 candidates and two interviewers. After the initial intro, 3 situation based questions were asked to each candidate. 1. Recent experience in multi tasking 2. Narrate your recent , exceptional contribution to current/past employer 3. How do you organize yourself at work Then each candidate got a sheet of paper explaining the base pay, commission potential and perks offered by company, which I found not as per my expectation

Got an e-mail requesting a phone interveiw. E-mail prompts you to a link. Candidate selects time. E-mail message requests candidate to have resume in hand, and to be prepared to discuss it. The phone interview process was basic. Questions asked were why am I interested in this position and why do I want to work for the company? Interviewer did not ask questions about resume contents. First of all, the advertisement was listed for Liberty Travel. Then the online application prompts you to Flight Centre. Afterwards prompts you to fill out an application for a position for Corporate Traveller. Confusing! Next, get an e-mail from an HR rep acknowledging receipt application. Sent reply with concerns - never got a response. A week later received an e-mail requesting phone interview. Selected my time, got an acknowledgement that didn't seem clear (was my appointment for a phone interview confirmed or not???). Sent e-mail to interviewer requesting reconfirmation of phone appointment. Got no response. The day of my phone interview waited for my call only to find out the caller called an alternate number. Hmmm...on my resume there's a number listed, which obiviously was not used. Anyway, after carefully researching the company and after my weird phone interview I don't think I would of accepted the position. Based on my initial experience the company seems unorganized and the organization's culture could be dsyfunctional.
