      Pros

      I have only worked at A-Safe a few months but the changes I have seen in this time from an employee point of view are great. The flexible benefits scheme has something for everyone, in particular for me the flexible start and finish times are a great benefit that suit different lifestyles or preferences. The business is growing on a large scale and the investment into the development of new products/technologies makes it an exciting company to be involved with with opportunities being created in many different departments. The people at A-Safe are friendly, helpful and great colleagues to have.

      Cons

      There has been issues with the lack of communication from leadership to staff on the shop floor, but this has largely been due to there being no avenues for this and shifts conflicting with office hours. Work is currently being done on creating technological solutions to this to keep staff updated and in-the-know as to what is going on in the wider business so hopefully this should alleviate some of these concerns. Another potential con is the pace of growth and change creates a lack of space and means things are always changing. Not a problem if you embrace change and like to put the effort in to make a difference, but if you're someone who likes to stay stagnant and settled then it might not be the place for you.

      Thank you for the detailed review and feedback on our flexible benefits scheme. It's great to know that you are enjoying the flexible start and finish times we offer. We appreciate your feedback on communication. This is a theme we recognise needed addressing as we grow so have recently taken big steps to improve this as you point out. We have recently launched our staff intranet which shares news and information with all employees across the globe, and are about to embark on launching a monthly A-SAFE newsletter. These are just two of the initiatives we have implemented or are just working on to enhance communication all around our global business from top-down and bottom-up. I also acknowledge your feedback on the lack of space as a result of our growth. As of this week, work has begun on a huge project at our HQ site to extend the factory by 2000 square metres, refurbish and extend our staff car park, create a new garden area for staff and give a new look to our existing offices. There are then further works planned to start an office extension and facilities upgrade in early 2020. These changes give us the ability to continue with our growth and to install some new and exciting manufacturing processes, whilst also improving the office environments and addressing the issues surrounding lack of space.

      Great people and products. Investing and growing rapidly Global company Fantastic career opportunities Fast paced and exciting, I have had a lot of support and flexibility.

      Cons

      Rapid growth brings some issues around space but there is a lot of investment in new offices. Not really a con but you have to enjoy working in an agile environment where things change quickly.

      The company is incredibly fast growing which creates an energetic, fast moving environment - might put off people who like a sedentary pace!
