I am finally out. Otherwise, very hard for me to think of one.

Cons

Reputation has fallen rapidly and significantly. But partners egos have not. With recent deequitization, things will only get worse.

If position is in management or higher than it's a great place to be.

Cons

Morale is very low for the support staff in the NY office. Not sure if the managing partners are aware of this. It has not been a pleasant place for the past few years and they've recently announced freezing the pension plan. They're letting staff go for one reason or another so it doesn't look like a massive layoff. Support staff members are just holding on if they can't find another job.

Interoffice relationship betweens partners in the same department where senior partner's book of business provided cover and enabled junior partner to impose a reign of terror over staff and attorneys.
