Pros

I am currently working and have worked for AB Staffing for 3 years. As a salesman, you will not find a better environment to work in. AB Staffing offers uncapped commission plans, full benefits are paid for and provided for each employee. They work with you when your production is down and give you realistic goals. There are friendly competitions, quarterly between recruiters, where the winner receives an all expenses paid trip to places like San Francisco and Cancun. The growth AB Staffing has had during my tenure with the company has been amazing to be apart of. The company’s development recently has led to ownership now building a brand new office in a great location in the southeast valley. Leadership really takes the time to get to know each employee personally. Due to unforeseen reasons, I had to relocate to the Midwest. AB Staffing’s management allowed me to continue my employment remotely. I would highly recommend this organization to any sales person that wants to be rewarded for their own hard work.

Cons

None that I can think of. Yes, there will be sporadic long days in the office, but where else can you make 100k in the valley and only work 8 hour days?? Nowhere. Putting in occasional 10 hour days are standard in sales positions with that type of earning potential.

Pros

Everyone is nice to an extent. Health benefits are free and included when working here.

Cons

I was hired for this position with so much hope that this would work out! Your first 90 days you can work at much overtime as you want. I worked 7 am - 5 pm with a 30 minute lunch most days. Or I would work 6-5. They tell you in the interview that it’s going to be a long game so you probably won’t be making commission till about 6-8 months, than you start the position and they give you the most unrealistic expectations. I’ve done sales, I know how it works, and their expectations are ridiculous. On top of that, their leads are awful and reused and they give you no new job positions for your doctors. They tell you to build your pipeline of doctors that want to work, and then tell you that’s not good enough that you need to also submit doctors to facilities as well. And they have no facilities that are good! On top of that, they pay their doctors not market value of the state that the facility is in. The minimum phone call dial is 60-80 a day with 2 hours of talk time. I would make 90 -120 phone calls a day and I was at this position for exactly 90 days. They literally laid me off on my 90 days because I wasn’t meeting expectations, BUT I PUT IN ALL THE WORK AND THEY TOLD ME ITS THE LONG GAME! They have a super high turn over rate here, they play favorites, and even if you work hard and put in the effort your still not good enough. Don’t waste your time.

Pros

There really arnt many pros to working here.

Cons

There are lots but if you are going to work here avoid locums. The locums team outlook for workable jobs is the lowest in the company. Management in locums is pretty bad and will constently tell you that they are great at what they do with no real results. They lie on their job postings and during the interview about how much a recrutier can make, base salary is $44,000 and it takes years to build up enough to make the $100,000 that they promise, as a side note the base is low here compared to other staffing companies.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you had a bad experience. When interviewing and onboarding recruiters, we make sure to set realistic expectations. Building a book of business in Healthcare Recruitment takes time. At our company, most recruiters earn $65,000–$75,000 in their first year and $90,000–$100,000 from their second year onward. Managers explain this during the hiring process. Our top producers, especially on the Locums Team, earn significantly more with commissions included. Please feel free to reach out to HR with any additional concerns.
