There were no pros to working for ADT or Protection 1.

Cons

The company I formerly worked for was merged with ADT and it was the cause of the downfall of our local office. ADT does not care about their employees or their customers.

Pros

There is money to be made here, but it is definitely a dog eat dog environment. Good benefits are a plus, but they only love you when your killing it.

Cons

Your number one competitor is ADT. You are competing against the ADT phone sales team, ADT Dealers, and now ADT Starter Kits available off the shelf. Go to work for a company that cares about you, if there are any left. Honestly, if you have the kind of entrepreneurial mindset it takes to make it here you should START YOUR OWN BUSINESS!!! Not work for someone else.

The Money is good. The benefits are decent.

Cons

A lot of politics. Leads are handed out to the elite. Makes it difficult to sell. Not great communication between the sales and service management.
