Very unstable place to work

Pros

The employees are helpful and genuine.

Cons

Stressful, unstable, and management seems unskilled to deliver correct results. Things change dramatically and serious matters are swept under the carpet as though it didn’t happen and don’t matter. Employees are stressed and confused and the environment can be hostile. Very political. Who you know goes a long way.

Pros

M-F schedule was nice. Love no weekends/no holidays.

Cons

Promotions and management positions were based on who you know what what church you attend with a member a leadership. Sweat shop-like conditions for one department that was so busy, they could barely keep up. Then another department was completely over staffed. Little to no advancement opportunities. When hired I was told that after a year (if quality and numbers were excellent) there would be an opportunity to work from home. They did away away with that program, so don’t think you’ll work from home. You won’t. Low pay for nurses.

Pros

Non clinical job, good benefits, can be an independent contractor and work from home, and managers are always asking people to work overtime (a pro if you are looking for $$)

Cons

Terrible cliquey micromanagement style. Peer to peer phone calls come in non stop. You hang up from one call and the phone rings right away, all day. Lots of doctors calling in are nasty and degrading. It does a number on you mentally after a while. There is not so subtle pressure to deny a lot of requests. Kind of iffy, ethically speaking. Avoid if you can.
