      Pros

      could be a good place to work if somebody will hear the voice of their employees.

      Cons

      bad communication between management and employees; they have ice age ideas; sometimes is more a Nazi camp; they repeat twice a week, every week, every month the same thing; never heard about marketing, and friends help friends. you know what I mean.

      Pros

      Good benefits overall, provides company vehicle and gas card. Some on-the-job training available.

      Cons

      Not enough technical training. Company teaches technicians how to sell rather than plumbing techniques. Horrible local management. General manager was not a leader. Reacted out of fear rather than planning ahead and leading local office with confidence. Employees treated with disrespect, mistrust and like bad little children.

      Mismanaged by the GM

      Pros

      Home Depot affiliation, Some great people working there (non-managment)

      Cons

      The GM is a genius salesman but a horrible, horrible leader. Managment consistantly blames others for his failures. If your not a personal friend of the manager keep your resume up to date, you'll need it. If you are looking for a decent place to work look elsewhere. The GM will promise opportunity, generous pay and good times but in the end you'll just end up with the short end of the stick.
