Really not worth your time

Pros

- Ability to say you work in entertainment - Fairly relaxed hours - Easy work - Perks such as free festival tickets - Recruiters are stellar

Cons

- Strict 4-5 days a week in-office in a half-finished office in DTLA - Company is privately held, so there's next to no accountability for good financial / sales performance. As such, their sales team is shockingly bad and they lean more on their association with AEG than anything with their product - Tech / brand feels outdated, talent is extremely poor, industry best practices are nonexistent - This is largely because the pay is insanely low, even for LA - Poor management who has stayed in their job too long and refuses to manage, thus allowing disorder within teams - Cliquish culture, again largely because people aren't focused on doing their jobs

Pros

Meeting cool people with similar interests

Cons

Horrible pay (grossly underpaid…they will tell you there’s a bonus structure but you’ll never get the full amount) The worst leadership, especially in the product org. The product org is run by terrible leaders who are trying to get themselves promoted and stick their nose in everyone’s business to look busy. Strict 4-5 days in-office policy. Run far away from this place. Most people either get fired out of nowhere or leave for better jobs.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. At AXS, we work hard to provide competitive compensation, structured bonus programs tied to performance and company results, and leadership accountability across teams. We recognize that individual experiences can vary, and we regularly review our pay practices, leadership development, and employee engagement efforts to ensure we are supporting our teams effectively. We also understand that our in-office expectations may not be the right fit for everyone, and we continue to focus on creating an environment that supports collaboration, professional growth, and respectful working relationships across the organization. We appreciate you sharing your perspective and wish you the best in your next role.
