Toxic work culture (in our office) due to:
- Preferential treatment - Those that question the status quo are diminished. Those that enforce a toxic culture are protected and thrive; Highly political environment for such a small org
- Incompetent, insecure and frequently absent manager who actively promotes infighting across teams
- Rotating door policy - people who leave or are let go are treated as traitors while the hard questions as to to why a particular leader(s) is/are causing so many qualified people to leave in such a short time frame are left unexplored
- Thin HR function
- This company sells training software, but little emphasis is placed here. Career development opportunities are highly variable across the org and are dependent on your manager
