Pros

I feel supported by my colleagues and my superiors at Absorb. After working here for less than a year I was offered a chance to develop and take on a new role where I had expressed interest. Absorb fosters growth and a supportive work environment. Work-life balance is fostered at Absorb where you can choose your own hours that make sense for you, and receive one work from home day a week. Weekly pastry deliveries are an added treat, along with other almost monthly activities and team building events.

Cons

Sometimes things can move slowly and there is not always transparency in processes, however this is something that has been recognized by upper management and is being worked on.

Pros

I have been an employee with Absorb for some months now. Generally it has been a wonderful experience so far. Nice environment to work in and great colleagues from diverse background yet accommodating. When at work it feels like home also. More like a second home to me. The snacks, beverages, game room with xbox games (Good for relaxation during lunch break), board games and so on. You can do fun things during lunch. Maybe watch movies on your computer or play games. Lunch time fun is encouraged by all managers. First thing I noticed when I started. They want you to feel like its your second home. The organization ensures employees satisfaction by making sure all voices are heard and suggestions are put into consideration. Major decisions are made with the general input of the employees. Great managers that ensure new hires get up to speed with well structured training process and mentors to assist. More so, the work from home policy is good and not forgetting, I am glad there's a paid underground parking for employees. There are all year round employee outing that helps with bonding which is good. Not forgetting, Absorb also gives back to the community one way or the other through charity. So far the experience has been amazing.

Cons

Work from home days not sufficient.

Pros

Great staff to work with, pretty much everyone appreciates what I do and is understanding of my mistakes. Everyone collaborates together on many things, and we're starting to grow more communities within Absorb that help us reach among different teams. Most times I experience little to no micromanagement, due in part to my extraordinary ability to keep most things running smoothly. Any questions people have, there's always someone in the organization who's willing to show you the way, and I like that.

Cons

Each building has too many stairs, and I'm not a fan of leg day. Offices are a little too spread out for my liking, but we're fixing that soon.
