      Good work life balance but immature Leadership Team

      - Paid parking - free snacks - Genuine people - 1 hour lunch break - Good product

      Cons

      Leadership team is immature and require leadership development, favoritism, lack of coaching skills. HR processes are not very mature (i.e. inconsistent compensation between employees of same role, lack of performance management process - smart dedicated people surprisingly get let go without reason). Strategic direction not clear. Success is not celebrated all the time. On the surface doesn't look like a workplace that has a lot of politics but in reality it has a strong under current if you are in the mid to senior level management role.

      Pros

      Overall it is a great place to work. It is a growing business and intrinsically presents opportunity for staff to become leaders, hone their abilities and boost their individual market value. Most staff are collaborative and great to work with. The leaders are engaging and approachable, and certainly more accessible than their counterparts at other organizations (where I've worked). Absorb is filled with very nice personalities, fosters strong fun relationships, and has good core values and a great working culture. Central location, free parking, good supply of snacks, great coffee, good experience for the resume!

      Cons

      Like any expanding business, there are growing pains, but nothing shocking or unreasonable. The free parking for some staff is a 10-15 min walk from the office. Maybe not much variety on site if you want to grab a bite for lunch.
