Pros

Love the people I work with

Cons

Understaffing, understaffing, understaffing!!!! Did I mention understaffing? Their ratios may be leag but they are not safe and many of our patients feel neglected and end up discharging before their treatment is complete. Upper management with the exception of a select few have no respect or appreciation for staff. As long as Acadia stock or profits could possibly go up half a point you are worked into the ground without consideration for your physical or mental health.

Pros

The compensation and benefits aren't terrible. There are some really great employees who haven't been able to get out yet.

Cons

The most important thing you should know about this company: the Executive Team (E-Team)does not care about their employees. They consider their employees to be petulant children that need to physically babysat. They heavily reward themselves with bonuses and raises, but their employees haven't seen anything more than a 2% increase in several years. HR is not interesting in making any improvements for their employees. Don't even think about bringing any concerns to them either. If you do, expect to be: demeaned, reminded of how ungrateful of an employee you are, and how you don't deserve to work there unless you agree with 100% of their choices. This is an old school company, with an old school mindset, and they are the perfect representation of all the bad things that come with that. They have so many lawsuits against them regarding their shady practices and incorrect pay. Luckily, those mostly affect employees at their facilities, but that shouldn't make you feel any comfort. Just know that to them, all employees, even the best employees, are replaceable.

Pros

Flexible for doctor appointments and what if's. I have always been able to take kids to appointments and myself to appointments with no problems. Some are nice to work with.

Cons

Can't get approval to fix important equipment, no communication among departments, only a few employees are held responsible for doing their jobs correctly.
