All down hill after take over.

Pros

Loved my job for a long time prior to take over. Working with clients was wonderful and I could see the difference my work was making in their lives.

Cons

When take over was in progress I was happy thinking the favoritism would be resolved and policy would change such as family working together and convicted felons would be removed from positions. All that happened was the top was given new titles. RN's replaced by inexperienced LPN's and new grads.

Pros

Marketability, buying power with contracts, ability to compete due to CTC size across the country.

Cons

Lip service with no action for employee recognition, lack of associate recognition leads to horrible retention rates. Fat layer of middle management that does nothing to assist associates. Region Management is CRITICAL and all about micro management and management by fear and intimidation. Upper management is too serious about everything. This company needs to learn to smile more in daily business and quit treating patients like they are widgets. There is an upright spirit of upper management and an emotional disorder of constipation. This is an important business of healthcare that regards saving lives and get most of the emphasis is about profitability
