Pros

Decent pay and benefits. Most of the counselors are really professional.

Cons

There are productivity goals which are not realistic setting up all new counselors to fall short. The first three months to a year is constant pressure to meet goals for units of billed counseling. It's similar to the TPS reports on that movie Office Space.

Pros

The benefit package looked great until the takeover actually happened.

Cons

If you receive word that your company is getting bought out, RUN! They will do anything to mislead and keep employees until they take over, then have layoffs (especially if you are paid well before the take over), delay paying final paychecks past state allowed time and will not reimburse any expenses owed. When you inquire about payment, you get constant run around and never get paid unless you file suit, which is expensive and not worth it for a small sum of money. They KNOW this! Be warned and find another job ASAP. If you treat employees this way, just how are you treating patients?

Pros

The only benefits derived from this organization is patient interaction.

Cons

*Buy out lead to already earned vacation time being stripped from all employees. A violation of Workforce Development code. *Company condones an employee that makes sexual remarks to patients and coworkers. *It is frowned upon if you point out to management that a coworker is making the company extremely liable for damages because they are not adequately completing their work or falsifying documents. *State regulations are being violated by having case loads of 70 patients. *Financial gain for the corporation is placed above patient care. *You are asked to falsify supervision hours in order to maintain compliance with state regulations so the clinic will not fined a penalty.
