      Slavery at its best here ... Join if you want to ruin your career

      Pros

      Initial pay package is high (they lure you to join using this technique) Flexible work timings (Actually only pro, can list of here)

      Cons

      Too much politics within the team Managers are incapable to listen to employee concerns or even solve technical issues Poor or no hike (Appraisal management system is not transparent and no processes defined) (Dont be surprised if you get a generic mail company wide reg the same and no hike given to you) No team camaraderie as everyone is trying to stamp on each other Good place if you are in great terms with your manager Leaders who rely only on billing of a resource rather than treating a resource as human and listening to his/her difficulties or problems at work Poor skill mapping.. You will be given a domain which you have never heard of in your career due to billing Use and throw methodology - As long as you are performing and billable you are a rockstar and the minute your billing drops you are useless.. HR's are useless as any escalation tends to go to the same incapable manager/management team

      We are sorry you feel like you did not get fair treatment at Accion. We would like to at least apologize for that. It is quite clear that you left us because you were unhappy with your salary appraisal and perhaps we have done a poor job of explaining how we arrived at our recommendation. Please know that we take a broad number of factors including past performance, client feedback, attitude towards other team members, willingness to work/support company initiatives, etc… into account to arrive at hike. Having said this, your point that we need more transparent appraisal system and better access to the executive management is very valued. We hope to improve both of these in this year. We value your feedback and wish you best of luck in your future.

      We apologize that our 2014 review cycle was delayed because of management changes. We also recognize that we have to improve the transparency in our appraisal process. However, please know that the appraisals are fairly objective and dependent on your past performance, customer feedback, PM feedback, your contributions to company initiatives, your tenure with Accion, etc. Again we realize we have not done the best job of describing the structure of our appraisal for you and why you got that hike. Please note that we have hundreds of happy employees and we are sad that we could not meet your expectations. We wish you well for your future.

      "WORST COMPANY EVER, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAREER "

      Non that I can think of. This option shouldn't even be there.

      Cons

      Everything you can think of in terms of how worse a company can be. Initially everyone is very sweet and all sugar coated after a few months you'll see true colours. The management is pathetic, there is no opportunity for you to grow. I have more than a years exp and feel I wasted those years. Lots of Partiality, if you can butter the management even though you don't perform then all is good. The ppl who perform have to beg for a senior level. CEO has no clue as to what is happening and the management can lie about things and he will believe them blindly. Employees will be harassed and yelled at as if they in the 7th grade. Manager won't do much work but order employees. HR has no clue or say in any matter they are like puppets. Horrible experience, working there is a nightmare for your career.

      Sorry you are feeling so wronged. We feel you have been single-sided and very tough in your review of Accion. We continue to focus on emerging technologies and hire best talent in this space. Having said this, we know we are not perfect. We do need a better performance evaluation process, leadership development process and a more objective and transparent appraisal process. We are working on all these. We apologize for doing a poor job of understanding your concerns and addressing them.
