I was an employee as well as my child being a client. It was very short lived. The PCA they sent me was a mess. Swearing, talking bad about the company. When I brought it up to the staffer it was more of a burden to look for another PCA and seemed as if she didnt care what the PCA they sent out did. I decided to go elsewhere for a position as I was never sent on meet and greets, although I was told she could easily put me to work 8-5. I never received another call regarding PCAs. I contacted Ostego office that claimed they would help but they were silent as well. I finally called again to be told that I should just look elsewhere for a PCA as they wouldnt be able to find me one and if I found myself one for my child it would take 7-10 weeks before she could start. "New DHS law" she claims. However, I went to another agency and my person I found with no experience started in 3 days. NO problem. I still have yet to be paid for the on-line learning and they still haven't removed me as an employee even after I told numerous people I have gone elsewhere....

Very slow response to calls and emails. You are basically on your own in the home. Good luck getting paid right away for orientation. They will forget about your hiring bonus and then claim it didn't apply to the client you took. Currently restructuring so you will not be allowed any overtime as a nurse. Management is constantly changing. Who you contacted last month is probably not who still works there this month so good luck getting answers. Insurance coverage is expensive and sucks. Company is good at losing documents and emails you send. I love the clients I work with, if not for them I would have left already.
