Pros

I started working with the company on 09/06/2022 as a Production Quality Controller. It has been great working in this company, senior people in the quality department have helped me a lot to grow. As a present today, I am working as a Production Quality Controller Lead, taking on my role on 11/21/2024. I have never asked for a raise, but the Company has recognized my work & given as a raise also, everyone in the company has been helpful with everything we do. As a Team, we are growing together. At the end, I would like to say something, Haters want to say what they want because they don’t want to follow the company SOP & do whatever they want. for that, they can go to the Park & garden.

Cons

I have nothing to Say

Pros

From new hire to when you retire, Acero Precision offers you a state of the art facility and home, to grow in. After my previous company had a mass layoff during covid, I received a call from Acero interested in my 10 years of manufacturing and quality experience. The hiring team has an eye for talent, and brings in highly qualified professionals. Interviewing and on-boarding is a stress-free process, and all the employees are ready to welcome you to the family. Assigned trainings will have you up to speed in no time. Any member of management can easily be approached for any questions you may have and help is always available. With holiday parties, employee cook outs & games. Food & ice cream trucks, free uniforms and coffee, all employees are recognized for their hard work. With lots of skin in the game, I can safely say you will not find a better company to work for than Acero Precision. I will continue to advance my career here by proving what I can accomplish and lead my team to success.

Rewarding Work, Great Personnel, Poor Work-Life Balance, Toxic Management

Pros

Most of the work involves assisting in manufacturing medical devices, so your work could literally save someone's life. In addition, most of the people I worked with at this organization were very knowledgeable in what they do, professional, and easy to work with.

Cons

Mandatory overtime jeopardizes any semblance of a work-life balance, and once you sign the offer the schedule you agreed to is the schedule you have for the entire duration of your employment regardless of what life circumstances may arise. Furthermore, leadership feels incredibly disconnected from lower level personnel almost to the point of contempt. There is no willingness to collaborate and solve problems, resulting in an antagonistic relationship between management and staff.

We appreciate the time and thought you have put into this post. However, it is difficult to read the title of the post and not be confused. At first, we were feeling very good and then we were feeling extremely confused. Let’s start with “Rewarding Work” and “Great Personnel”. Can we stop right there? For most employees, you just described an ideal situation. Your assessment of the importance of our work and the quality of our personnel says it all. Yes, we provide all new employees a detailed “offer letter”. This is done for the sole purpose of removing any doubt about the responsibilities of the job and the benefits and wages they are entitled to starting on Day One. I cannot imagine a situation where we would decide to change a wage rate, a benefit offered, or a shift schedule that was not agreed to by the employee. The point is very simple. We operate a state-of-the-art facility that is running 24/7. Schedules are necessary for on-time delivery to our customers. Specially, production employees are awarded a generous starting wage rate and the opportunity to work typically Monday – Friday and every other Saturday. The OT is usually connected to Saturdays. Each new hire participates in a formal discussion with the Recruiting Team and a final offer is made based on those conversations. Without being disrespectful, it is hard for us to process how you know how “leadership” may or may not feel. Your use of the word “contempt” is unfounded and not accurate. Our managers and supervisors are engaged and are continually advocating for their team members. Every manufacturing company has a series of processes that incorporates customer deadlines, trained personnel, material costs, government regulations, and safety demands into how the business operates and competes. Acero Precision is no different. No manufacturing company could operate without structure, policies, and oversight. Finally, there is no “blame” but rather the idea of accountability. We do our best to improve and grow as a business. We have been successful business for the past 40 years. We believe that we are better today than we when we first started. We would like to believe that we are better because we have spent the time listening to and supporting our workforce, the best workforce in the region.
