- Terrible work life balance as you work 9-10 hour days and they expect you to work even after normal work hours and on the weekends - No real guided training to start as they have you do some online courses and then throw you on the phones - No real help from other recruiter as you are technically competition against each other - $16/hr to start for the first 3 months - Blatant favoritism of certain employees - High school clique mentality - Abusive management - Refusal to address outside factors like the economy in an employee's performance - Inconsistently enforcing their work from home policy - Borderline retaliatory actions and verbal abuse for actually using PTO and flexibility - Constant threats of firing you if they deem you below your expected growth line - Restricted growth opportunities as the only way to move up is to go into sales as an account manager

- Benefits aren’t the best - Work/life balance isn’t always easy and takes awhile to develop - While the metric/measurable weekly goals are attainable, the emphasis placed on them at times is excessive - Imparting boundaries on immediate supervisors and peers is crucial (see: works/life balance) - Your geographical location, team, and business will heavily influence your ability to succeed. - Position has proven to be capable of being done from home, yet required to be in office most of the time. - Heavily commission based which can be great if you are good at your job, and can be detrimental if you are not - this is not unique to Actalent, this is just a consideration to take when looking at commission based jobs.
