Pros

Love the nurses and doctors. Great teams of people to work with!

Cons

They eliminated the shift 2 differential. Benefits are expensive for what is offered. Hourly compensation and raises are a joke!

Pros

When this hospital was managed by Centura I couldn't say enough good things about the company as a whole. Now that it is managed by AdventHealth the only thing I can say is I like the people I work with.

Cons

If you want to move ahead in your career this is not the place to do it, unless you have an RN behind your name. I have a bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience and I make less than a new grad RN with a bachelor's degree and no experience. There simply is no leadership track for anyone other than nurses. They recently conducted market research adjustment and gave every RN or CNA a raise without giving a raise to a single other person in that hospital not from behavioral health to dietary to occupational therapy to environmental services to registration. They have proven that unless you are an RN you do not matter. You will have to work multiple jobs or become a nurse to be able to make a living while working for AdventHealth.
