Administration was poor. Advancement and growth was terrible. Did not support their technical support team.

Thanks for leaving your comments, we truly appreciate all types of feedback. As you mentioned, the employees in the Technical Support department have created a very strong, cohesive atmosphere as they work together to resolve customer questions. It is a wonderful group of people to work with. To address your other concerns, the company unfortunately went through some tough circumstances in 2020 and underwent a reduction in force. As difficult as this was, we are in a better place now with the appropriate number of employees needed for the future success of the business. We are therefore more capable of supporting our employees in their professional growth and development, as your feedback suggests.

Pros

they really promote time off with generous new parental time off, unlimited pto, adding more holidays, no strict work schedule. can work from home forever, any place. they offer permanent work from home / no need to return to office. the employees are friendly and i'm close with my team. patient and willing to train. good managers. good benefits mostly.

Cons

pay is around average from what i hear from others. small-ish company so not always a ton of promotion chances.

We often hear feedback from our employees that one of their favorite aspects of working at Advicent is our culture and the friendships they develop with other members of the team. Employees also enjoy the flexibility we provide as seen in our new hybrid workplace policy. In regard to your feedback around compensation, this is something that is regularly monitored by analyzing various sources of compensation data for our industry and market. A competitive total compensation package is crucial in our goal to be an employer of choice!

Okay company with poor C level leadership

Pros

Laid back atmosphere with small perks (Soda Machines) and modern office design

Cons

Tight deadlines, management (C level specifically) being out of touch with actual software development, lay-offs often and heavy as they are owned by a private equity firm.
