Pros
Excellent engineers with substantial product knowledge and experience. A core "old guard" that are great to work with, work with great pride in their work and very customer oriented. Long-standing customer-company relationships that lead to solid product ideas. Was, especially the Infogenesis group in California, once a proud and gifted company with some great people throughout development, field and support operations. No more.
Cons
Toxic management environment. Terrible place to work. Little to no opportunity for advancement. Outmoded underlying technology for many products. Management that is unresponsive to both employees and customer needs. HR and possible legal risk to handling work visas and how it jobs are listed. Treats female employees terribly: this is NOT an equal pay-equal work company! When I entered management my female team members were, on average, making 52% of what the male team members were while doing same work. After years of trying to rectify this, was still unable to achieve parity due to executive and upper management resistance and barriers. I've heard that it is even worse since I retired. This company has gone down the wrong path. Do not believe reviews on glassdoor placed by management and HR about how things are all getting better. Even though I retired from this company, I still maintain inside and customer contacts.
