      Pros

      The paid time off is very nice. The pay and benefits are better than the civilian counterparts. The job skills are definitely one of a kind.

      Cons

      Hours worked do not fit the pay. Get ready for forced 12+ hour days, working on the weekends, and short sighted leadership. Budget cuts have killed any perks of working there.

      Steady paycheck, less deployments than my manned aircraft days, good community, chance to save lives and protect americans

      Cons

      Long hours, leadership that is out of touch, rotating shift work, severe boredom at times, huge bureaucracy, endless attention to things that don't matter
