Pros

Conversational AI is growing. Although Aisera is late to the game and well behind some of the major players, there is still an opportunity for the company to compete and grow.

Cons

Where to start ... 50-60 percent attrition within 8 months. Is that normal? Executive Leadership has little respect for individuals. They have personal characteristics such as poor listening skills, a failure to prioritize, a lack of planning for meetings. CRO will be on calls with you and on his phone texting all at the same time. Look at the open headcounts ... that's not organic growth that's backfill. Been to start ups previously that are chaotic but this is not that ... this is reckless, time wasting and nightmarish.

Pros

Aisera has a strong product and also future roadmap. The value proposition is strong and it's an up and coming market.

Cons

Good talent continues to disappear. 2 Strong Leaders in the West resigned under 6 months. VP of Sales who was highly liked and respected also left. East Leader with excellent pedigree leaves in a short period of time. Public Segment Leader lasted 2 months. Head of Sales Engineering and Head of Marketing also gone. Why ... its because the environment is toxic. It's the environment that both the CEO and CRO come from, believe in and push down to the field. Make sure you do your due diligence. Talk to both current and former employees. There are too many good companies out there with bleeding edge technology and an excellent executive management team to work for instead of going to Aisera to take a beating and be treated like a doormat.

Pros

There really aren't any unless you have been unemployed for months and need some cash. This place is brutal.

Cons

This presser cooker is unreal. Meetings that start at 11:30PM and last only 10 minutes, and when you say I was asleep already "where is your level of dedication?" is what you will face in the morning. Called in on a Sunday and the expectation was to get your entire global team online and testing because the QA team can't do their job, so you must ruin your team's weekend to make up for it. The CEO is a child that will yell (in full voice) at a room of folks, end his soliloquy with something he finds humorous, and wonder why no one is laughing. He is a bully and should not be allowed to speak to people. If you are still reading this, and are still thinking about joining this sinking ship, the technology doesn't work, they are losing customers right and left. Their blueprint for success is to throw bodies (not technology) at the problems - that is why they are looking for you to join. Please save yourself the heartburn and aggravation and keep looking. Here is a little trick for you, when interviewing with anyone that will be your peer, ask them how long they have been there. No one there has been there long enough to get to the initial cliff for stock options, everyone either quits because of the stress or is fired if they get dangerously close to their first anniversary.
