Pros

The people at AMC in day-to-day operations are fantastic. The scientists and staff are friendly, intelligent, and caring.

Cons

Little institutional support as a whole. The hospital is more concerned with the hospital than things that deal with anything research-related. Compensation is grossly disproportionately weighed towards the hospital, including benefits and such. Not really liking the fact that AMC as a policy calls patients "customers."

Pros

There's always going to be a couple bad apples to ruin things for you employee wise but there's definitely more good people that are willing to help and teach. But I may just be in a good department. The Gym and Cafeteria is great as well

Cons

Extremely hard to get hired here unless you know someone. Even if you manage to get hired but wish to switch departments its still very hard to move around.
