Pros

Gives you opportunity to work in some of the bigger companies in the region

Cons

Extreme micro-managing (forcing employees to submit daily journals - are we kindergarteners?) Inner circle promotion system – even if you do great work, if you're not favoured by the management, then it's too bad. Upper management has a strange cult-like reverence towards the CEO which makes everything super weird.. Poor compensation and benefits – not even close to industry standard

Dear Alephian, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on our Glassdoor. We are sorry to hear that you did not, or are not, enjoying your employment as much as we would like you to. As we take every review of our work environment seriously we have conducted an internal investigation on the matters you have brought up. Keeping a daily journal is an important part of Aleph's company culture. It serves as a two-way communication tool between team members, leads, and leadership. This is by no means to micro-manage anyone but an effort to ensure the voice of each Alephian is heard. It is a way for us to help move information fast so we can respond to teams and clients quickly. Aleph practices equal opportunity employment for all as part of our hiring policy. The same applies to our performance reviews and promotions; everyone is given the same opportunity to showcase their craft and be recognised accordingly and systematically. There is no such thing as an "inner circle". Respect is upheld for every single Alephian. As happiness team, we aim to provide a conducive environment where everyone can be open to voice out their opinion regardless of their designation. On top of this open culture, we have a feedback system with the utmost confidentiality in place as well. As for compensation, we are always striving to improve our employee experience at Aleph. Should you have any suggestions, you are welcome to share with us. Last but not least, we have checked our database of employees and the description of your profile does not match anyone who has recently left the organisation. This makes it difficult for us to judge the veracity of your statements. As we wish to hear from you and to clear the air, please reach out to the Happiness team and we are more than happy to have an open discussion with you. Thank you.

Cons

- Project timeline is very tight A big project with limitation resource but they always push developer to keep their plan. - They are hiring the people from Viet Nam, Thailand with saving cost then bring them to onsite working. - You will get not much support when onsite working - You must pay the tranportation fee by your self and claim it at the end of the month - The Management style very bad like bosses and worker

Pros

None that can help cope with the cons

Cons

This company may look attractive and glamour but in reality it is only so good at pretending and gaslighting. Once trapped in its toxic system, you will soon realize that when lifting its thin, polished lid, everything else is made out of cardboard : leadership, project management, company culture, promises, salaries, equality, acceptance. The reason? Exclusively short-term and fast-profit decisions at any cost and a system in which nobody is made to feel that they have a voice. The CEO’s biggest fear is to be discovered, and so gaslighting, lies, harassment, oppression is what feeds his (again, short-term) craving for control. It’s easy to see it when looking at all of the fake reviews here. 90% of the good ones are written by the management, and this is only the tip of the iceberg. After working there for a while you will feel like cardboard yourself : disposable, useless, unliked - before you leave this company and, at first not believe how amazing work can feel like, and then blooming like the most beautiful flowers. Sending my thoughts to my former Alephians who are now much better off without Aleph and feel like themselves again. To current employees : you are beautiful, competent and worthy of a better treatment. To job seekers : you can find good clients, amazing projects and, above all, respect at many other companies. Don’t stop here.

Dear Alephian, Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback on Glassdoor. We are sorry to hear that you are not enjoying your employment as much as we would like you to. However, we do not wish to be misrepresented in the public space any reasons. We would like to shed light on the above-mentioned. First and foremost, every single Alephians are specially chosen by our very own team to get onboard. These include our team leads, happiness team and our very own senior management, regardless of the position of the hire. Our hiring policy put culture and skill match at the front line and everybody has their part to play here. Secondly, we do not control any posting on our Glassdoor. The reviews here are beyond our control as far as how this community board works. This is a public space which everyone can have a voice. We would appreciate if you can respect the opinion of others just as we are listening to you. Lastly, as an organisation, we are always striving to create a more conducive professional culture for all.
