Toxic, micromanaging environment

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

The reviews on here are 100% true. Working at Alignment was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. The culture is incredibly toxic—leadership micromanages everything, and HR doesn’t care when serious issues like harassment or bullying come up. Very little training, high expectations. Constant turnover Most employees are underpaid, overworked, and receive little to no appreciation or support. It’s clear the focus is on profit, not people.

Pros

Some incredibly bright, mission-driven colleagues. The kind of people who show up every day and do the work despite the dysfunction above them. The mission itself could mean something if it weren’t buried beneath internal chaos.

Cons

This place runs on fear, favoritism, and performative leadership. Layoffs happen in silence, no explanation, no accountability, just a cold meeting and a locked-out account. Upper leadership is chaotic and disconnected, clinging to buzzwords while drowning in their own indecision. There's no strategy, just shifting goals that change week to week depending on who's panicking and yelling the most. Nepotism is rampant. Unqualified friends and family members get promoted or handed leadership titles while experienced, high performing employees are pushed aside or cut loose. It's not just disheartening, it’s dangerous. Mediocrity is protected, while talent is treated like a threat. Innovation is performative. Transparency is nonexistent. Psychological safety? Forget it. If you ask too many questions, you’re marked. If you speak up, you’re out. It’s a culture that rewards silence, not strength, and punishes anyone who tries to bring integrity into the room.
